Takht-e Soleyman, Iran - UNESCO World Heritage Site

 Place: Takht-e Soleyman, Iran

Route: From Soltaniyeh 256 km east on route 2.

Significance: The archeological site includes remains of a large Zoroastrian sanctuary that was originally built in the 6th-7th centuries and then rebuilt by the Monguls in the 13th century.
