Evora, Portugal - UNESCO World Heritage Site

 Place: Evora, Portugal

Weather: Intervals of clouds and sunshine, 51/74F.

Route: From Elvas 84 km WSW on A6.

Population: 56,596

Significance: There are at least three major eras shown in the architecture of Evora - Roman, Muslim, and Portuguese Royal.  There is an Roman aqueduct, of which 19 km still exist. Muslims ruled Evora for 450 years. And then in the 15th century Portuguese Kings started to live in Evora.
