Central Suriname Nature Reserve, Suriname - UNESCO World Heritage Site

 Place: Central Suriname Nature Reserve, Suriname

Route: From Paramaribo 184 km south on Martin Luther Kingweg.

Significance: The Reserve is a large primary tropical rainforest. Animals in the reserve include jaguar, giant river otter, sloths, several species of monkeys, hundreds of species of birds, and over six-thousand species of plants.
