 Place: Gammelstad, Sweden

Weather: Overcast with rain showers at times, 60/77F.

Route: From Geiranger 1,192 km NE on E14 and E4.

Significance: Gammelstad is a good example of a "church village." That is a village centered around a church - with small houses where people from the countryside could stay on Sunday's or festival times as travel in this part of the world is very difficult.
