Rock Carvings in Tanum, Sweden - UNESCO World Heritage Site

 Place: Tanum, Sweden

Weather: Partly cloudy, 58/66F.

Route: From Drottningholm Palace 487 km west on E18.

Significance: These rock carvings were made beginning 3,200 years ago.  They appear to show the polytheistic religious beliefs of people at the time.  There are also many depictions of boats, made well before the Viking times.
