Kilimanjaro National Park, Tanzania - UNESCO World Heritage Site

 Place: Kilimanjaro National Park, Tanzania

Route: From Mombasa 523 km west on A109 and A23.

Significance: The highest elevation in Africa, at 19,341 ft, it is always covered in snow. The surrounding mountain forest is inhabited by many endangered species.
