Significance: One of the most iconic sites in Africa - the river Zambezi flows along a Volcanic Basalt plateau diving into a gorge. In the rainy season the falls aren't even visible because of the amount of spray - the river is 2 km wide here.Website: UNESCO World Heritage Site
