Tiya, Ethiopia - UNESCO World Heritage Site

 Place: Tiya, Ethiopia

Route: From Harar 606 km west on A10.

Significance: At Tiya there are large monoliths, which symbols have not been deciphered and timing hasn't been exactly been determined.  Many of the 32 stalae appear to show swords.
