Blanc-Sablon National Historic Site, Quebec

Place: Blanc-Sablon, Quebec
Weather: Steady rain, 53/56F.
Route: From Red Bay 80 km SW on Trans-Labrador Highway.
Significance: Archaeological sites at Blanc-Sablon show that people have been living here for over 9000 years. It appears as though they survived mostly through using coastal resources, mainly seals. There are also have been many findings related to early Europeans as well. There are so many artifacts yet to find that amateurs have been invited to help out each summer.
