Glacier National Park, MT - UNESCO World Heritage Site

Place: Glacier National Park
Weather: Mainly sunny, 50/83F
Route: From Spokane 273 miles WNW on 1-90 E, MT-135 W, MT-200 W, US-93 N.
Significance: We already visited the Canadian side of this World Heritage Site at Waterton National Park. Now we're on the U.S. side at Glacier National Park. It includes one of the most famous roads in the National Park system, the Going-to-the-sun road.  The main attraction of the park are the glacial cut mountains, but of course there are lots of wildlife here as well such as bear, elk, bighorn sheep, cougar etc.
