Twyfelfontein, Namibia - UNESCO World Heritage Site

 Place: Twyfelfontein, Namibia

Weather: Partly cloudy, 60/90F.

Route: From Khomani Cultural Landscape 900km NW on B6, B1, and B2.

Significance: The area has the largest concentration of rock art (petroglyphs) found in all of Africa. The images were made between 6,000 to 2,000 years ago.  The images are mostly of animals, such as giraffe, elephants, and rhinoceros.
