Aachen Cathedral, Germany - UNESCO World Heritage Site

 Place: Aachen Cathedral, Germany

Weather: Cloudy with showers, 55/67F.

Route: From Cologne 75 km west on A4.

Significance: The oldest part of this cathedral was built by Charlemagne, Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire, in the late 8th century and is the site of his burial.
