Khajuraho Group of Monuments, India - UNESCO World Heritage Site

 Place: Khajuraho, India

Route: From Agra 409 km SE on NH 44.

Significance: These Hindu and Jain monuments were built from 950 to 1050 AD. On many of the temples, especially Kandariya, there are many sculptures showing the gods and what life was like in court.
