Population: 804,663 (2010)Significance: In the late 1400's, prior to the colonization by the Spanish there were 15,000 people living here. And although the Spanish did take control of the area by the early 1530's - the culture of the Native Mexicans is still very strong here. It also has many beautiful Baroque buildings.
