Agrigento, Italy - UNESCO World Heritage Site

 Place: Agrigento, Italy

Weather: Partly cloudy, 47/64F.

Route: From Villa Romana del Casale 96 km west on SS560 and SS640.

Significance: First founded by the Greeks in 6th century BC, it was also ruled by the Carthaginians and the Romans.  There are still standing Doric columns from the Greek period.
