Cultural Landscape of Honghe Hani Rice Terraces, China - UNESCO World Heritage Site

 Place: Honghe Hani Rice Terraces, China

Route: From Hanoi 442 km NW on CT05 and G219.

Significance: One of the iconic sights of China are the rice terraces of Honghe Hani. The system that's still used today has been developed over 1,300 years. Several animals are used in this farming of rice including buffalos, cattle, ducks, fish and eel.
