Sambor Prei Kuk, Cambodia - UNESCO World Heritage Site

 Place: Sambo Prei Kuk, Cambodia

Weather: Plentiful sunshine, 78/99F.

Route: From Angkor 173 km southeast on NR6.

Significance: This was the capital of the Chenla Empire in the 6th and 7th centuries. This civilization pre-dated Angkor and the place where many of the architectural styles were developed.
