Busosanseong Fortress (Baekje Historic Areas), South Korea - UNESCO World Heritage Site

Place: Busosanseong Fortress, South Korea

Route: From Beopjusa 209 km west on Gyeonbu Expressway.

Significance: This fortress is one of 8 archeological sites associated with the Baekje Kingdom, which was a major power on the Korean continent from 18 BC to 660 CE.  The Baekje Kingdom was associated with Buddhism cultures found in China and Japan at the same time.
