Sansa Buddhist Mountain Monasteries (Beopjusa), South Korea - UNESCO World Heritage Site

Significance: There are 7 Buddhist monasteries all around South Korea that are part of this UNESCO listing. Most of them were established from the 7th to 9th centuries.  These sites show the unique form of Buddhism practiced in Korea.
