 Place: Al Zubarah, Qatar

Route: From Qal'at al-Bahrain 520 km SE on Route 615.

Significance: Al Zubarah was at its height in the 18th and 19th centuries as a trading center. Most of the site has yet to be excavated. The more visible buildings are two forts.
