Everglades National Park

Place: Everglades National Park - World Heritage Site
Weather: Mostly Sunny 75/87F
Route: 259 miles from Sarasota - I-75 south to US-1 to state highway 9336.
Significance: Largest mangrove system in the western hemisphere. Large population of birds and reptiles.
Animals: White ibis, wood stork, gulf toadfish, osprey, alligator, florida panther, bottle nose dolphin, key deer, manatee.
