Population: 57,657Significance: The walls of this town are some of the most complete I've seen. The town was built in the 11th century as Christians were attempting to defend themselves and fight against the Muslims who had conquered them. It is also known as the city where St. Teresa was born. There is also a large Gothic cathedral here.
