Place: Poblet Monastery, Spain

Route: From Barcelona 125 km west on AP-7 and AP-2.
Significance: Built between the 12th and 15th centuries, it is one of the largest Cistercian Abbeys in the world. It had such great importance that several Kings and Queens of Catalonia and Aragon are buried here. The monastery still has 30 active monks.Video:
