San Agustin Archaeological Park, Colombia - UNESCO World Heritage Site

Place: San Agustin Archaeological Park, Colombia

Weather: Cloudy in the morning with isolated thunderstorms developing later in the day, 60/79F.

Route: From Tierradentro 178 km south on 37, 45, 20.

Significance: The largest number of religious monuments and megalithic sculptures in all of South America - many of which guard the stone tombs of important individuals.  This north Andean culture prospered from the 1st to 8th centuries.
